Jewellery House

• The period of the late XIX - early XX century brought the world experimental genres in literature, the industrial revolution and liberal values in education. A jewellery world this period has presented new aesthetic views on the most precious craft. Ukrainian masters also contributed to the development of the jewellery craftsmanship.

  At that time future capital of Ukraine, Kyiv city became one of the centres of jewellery art. In 1913 the city had 38 stores and workshops which had been crafting jewellery from silver, gold and precious stones. Almost all of them were located at Khreschatyk street and nearby streets literally used to shine with glitter of noble diamonds, sapphires and rubies.

  Red tint adorns jewellery, not political regimes. The “Soviets” dictatorship forced consumers with mass conveyor products both in everyday life and also in jewellery artisan. Often, faceless low-grade products were produced by monstrous plants, ruled by “Soyuzyuvelirprom”.

  Years have passed political leaders changed and regime fell. People got seek of lasted almost a century artistic vacuity and felt the need for aesthetics. This inspired the designers of the house of Jewellery Card to bring back to life Ukrainian high jewellery art.

  The history of house of Jewellery Card began in 1999 from a single order in the family workshop. Since then every day for almost two decades we are crafting jewellery magic. Golden creations by Jewellery Card became one of the favourite and most sought-after amongst peoples in Ukraine. During these years our team grew to a family of several hundred members. We are continuously working on a full cycle of jewellery production beginning from an idea and first sketch to finalization and presentation of a complete piece of jewellery to our client.

  At this very moment house of Jewellery Card is writing a new history by working on new collection of jewellery with unique design. Reconsidering best practices and ancient traditions, scrutinizing modern trends in jewellery fashion, soon our craftsmen will proudly present a new collection called LemoNNier,dedicated to the fashion style of modern time.
